Voting is optional at 16 and 17, compulsory from 18 to 70, and optional again over 70.

Driving age in Brazil

You need to be 18 to get a licence (CNH).

Drinking age in Brazil

You must be 18 to buy or be given alcohol; selling it to minors is a crime.

Marriage age in Brazil

You can marry at 16 with both parents’ consent and at 18 without it. Marriage under 16 has been banned since 2019.
