You are an adult at 18. At 16 you can be emancipated with your parents’ or a judge’s agreement.

You need to be 18 for a car licence (permiso B).

You must be 18 to buy or drink alcohol in every region.

Marriage age in Spain

The minimum age is 18. Emancipated 16- and 17-year-olds can marry.
