You are an adult at 18, or earlier if you marry.

Voting age in Turkey

You can vote at 18.

Driving age in Turkey

You need to be 18 for a car licence (class B).

Drinking age in Turkey

You must be 18 to buy alcohol. Shops may not sell it between 10 pm and 6 am.

Marriage age in Turkey

You can marry at 17 with your parents’ consent and at 18 without it. A court can allow a 16-year-old to marry in exceptional cases.
