“Whoever says SubhanAllah 33 times, Alhamdulillah 33 times and Allahu Akbar 33 times after every prayer, and completes the hundred with La ilaha illallah…, his sins are forgiven even if they are like the foam of the sea.” (Muslim 597)

About the Tasbih Counter

The Tasbih Counter is a digital tasbeeh for your phone or computer. Tap the big circle, or press Space, to count. Pick a dhikr with its Arabic text, meaning and Bangla name, set a target such as 33, 100 or 1000, or run the after-prayer tasbih, which moves from 33 SubhanAllah to 33 Alhamdulillah to 34 Allahu Akbar by itself. It vibrates when you reach the target and keeps today’s and all-time totals on your device.

How to use it

  1. 1 Pick a dhikr, or press After-prayer tasbih for 33·33·34.
  2. 2 Tap the circle (or press Space) for each count; Backspace takes one off.
  3. 3 Feel the long vibration at the target, then carry on or pick the next dhikr.
  4. 4 Your count is saved, so you can close the page and continue later.

Frequently asked questions

What is the tasbih after prayer?

After each obligatory prayer the Prophet ﷺ taught saying SubhanAllah 33 times, Alhamdulillah 33 times and Allahu Akbar 34 times (or 33, completing the hundred with La ilaha illallah). The After-prayer tasbih button counts them in order for you.

Does it work offline?

Once the page has loaded, counting needs no connection. Your count and totals are kept in your browser.

Is my count saved?

Yes, on this device. Close the page and come back and your dhikr, count and totals are still there. Nothing is sent to a server, so counts do not move between phones.

Can I count my own dhikr?

Yes. Type it under “Your own dhikr”, press Count this, and set any target or no limit.

Why doesn’t my phone vibrate?

iPhones do not let websites vibrate, and some Android phones turn vibration off in battery-saver mode. The count still works.
